Join our USA Swimming team where champions are built both in and out of the pool.

Our competitive swim team program is intended to cultivate a nurturing and competitive environment where young swimmers can excel both in the pool and in life. We are committed to fostering personal growth, discipline, teamwork, and resilience in our athletes.

Practice Groups

BAC's competitive program is structured to align with USA Swimming age groups, providing appropriate instruction and challenges for all swimmers.

Foundations (Ages 6-10)

  • Focus on technique and fundamentals
  • Building strong kicking and body position
  • Introduction to competitive swimming

Development (Ages 11-14)

  • Advanced technique with increased training volume
  • Development of race strategies and pacing
  • Championship-level meet preparation

Performance (Ages 15+)

  • High-performance training and specialization
  • College recruitment preparation
  • National-level competition preparation

Current Practice Schedule

Our practice schedule is designed to optimize pool time and provide the best training environment for each age group. Practices are held at the Burlingame Aquatic Center.

Barracuda (Ages 6-8)

Tue/Thu 3:30-4:30pm (includes final 15 minutes dryland)

Ready to Join BAC?

We're excited to meet you! Schedule a tryout evaluation with our coaching staff to determine the best training group for your swimmer. Our tryouts are offered three times per year before the start of each trimester.

Fill out our online form with your swimmer's information and experience level.

Attend Evaluation Session

Our coaches will evaluate technique, endurance, and skill level during a pool session.

Group Placement

Receive group placement recommendation and registration information.
