Mario has been swimming Masters at BAC since 2017 and joined the coaching staff in 2020. He swam club while growing up in Sacramento. Attended Kennedy High School where he was a 4 year varsity swimmer earning All League honors twice. Mario swam at San Francisco State University specializing in distance freestyle and the 200 fly. Mario has coached at Saint Ignatius High School in San Francisco since 2008 where he has produced multiple CCS individual, relay and team champions along with numerous swimmers being named All Americans.
