Head Coach - Masters Swimming

The Head Coach will be responsible for on-deck coaching of 6-8 practices weekly, managing part-time assistant coaches, program creation and implementation, competition schedule, customer service, event coordination, and the general administrative needs of the team. The candidate must be knowledgeable and up to date on current swim techniques and training methodologies, and be an expert communicator and team player.

Required:

• •5+ years of swim coaching experience
• •Competitive swimming experience at club/collegiate/professional level
• •Valid California driver's license with satisfactory driving record
• •Valid US Masters Swimming coach certification
• •Valid Red Cross Lifeguard certification (or completion within 90 days of hire - provided by BAC)
• •Leadership skills to train and lead a small team of part-time coaches
• •Excellent communication and organizational skills
• •Ability to commute/relocate to Burlingame, CA 94010

Preferred:

• •Experience in program planning, organizing, and supervising staff
• •Social media and marketing experience
• •Team building and morale management skills

Part-time position requiring work during:

Hourly Rate: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
