Summer is the time when club water polo kicks into high gear and really gets exciting. The teams have more practices, many new players join the program, and tournaments and travel inspire renewed dedication to the sport. Nationwide, all water polo clubs are at their highest level of intensity, all hoping to qualify their teams for the annual national age group championship, Junior Olympics. This summer, the Junior Olympics will be held in Irvine California. One of the main goals for the summer program is to qualify BAC teams for the tournament and to compete with the best clubs in the country.
All summer water polo teams will incorporate the individual skills stressed during the winter and spring programs into an overall team strategy and system of play. Tournaments and local competitive play will be offered to each group in an effort to provide the best experience for players of every level.
Both returning and new athletes are welcome in the BAC program this summer, regardless of the extent of their experience with the sport. Please join us this summer by participating in one of the most enjoyable and rewarding sports in the country!
