BAC Age-Group Swimming Recent Accomplishments

 

It was a fun and exciting weekend for BAC as 63 of our swimmers competed in the Daly City Dolphins Invitational meet. With 500+ swimmers from 12 different teams, BAC swimmers did exceptionally well in the three-day-long meet. The coach’s office was filled with trophies, medals, and ribbons earned by our hard working swimmers throughout the weekend!
At the conclusion of the meet, our swimmers wrapped up with 162 LBTs (life best times), 11 High-Point winners, 15 new BB times, 9 new B times, 7 new A times, 5 new AA times, 9 new JO (Junior Olympic) times, 9 new Far Westerns Qualifying times, 1 new (PRT) Pacific Reportable Time, and 6 new team record.

High-Point Awards were given to 1st – 3rd place in each of the age- group and our swimmers wrapped up 11 of them!

 

  

8 & under High Point Winners are:
Girls: Madeline Johnson 3rd place

Boys: Jed Rosen 3rd place

10 & under High Point Winners are:
Girls: Lucy Dillon 1st place
Annabel Ostrow 3rd place

Boys: Johnny Wilson 1st place
Jack Murphy 2nd place
Drew Quan 3rd place

11 – 12 High Point Winners are:
Girls: Kristen Brennand 1st place
Christine Hurty 2nd place
Naomi Thomas 3rd place

17 – 18 High Point Winner is:
Girls: Daphne Yeung 3rd place

Although the coaches cannot be more thrilled and satisfied by the turnout and performance of our swimmers, we believe that it is very possible to increase the number of participants at swim meets. So let’s give our talented swimmers a reason to work hard by participating in more swim meets!
